We are proud that the inspector recognised that we are an ‘inclusive school’ and that ‘pupils benefit from the school’s high ambitions and expectations.’ One of the key strengths of our school is the community that we have built which means that our school ‘is a happy place to be’. We are proud that the report celebrates our ethos, recognising the ‘warm, mutually respectful relationships’ and that ‘a sense of kindness and care permeates the school’. The inspector also noted the children ‘behave well’ and ‘take care of each other and their environment’

Although noting that we are still on a journey in developing our school, the inspector praised the school’s ‘decisive action to further improve the curriculum’. It is encouraging that the areas identified for future development were already part of our School Improvement Plan and that we are making good progress towards them. We were also very pleased that he noted that ‘leaders decisive actions mean the school continues to rapidly improve standards in all areas of its work’.
